Urban Juncture Case Study: #BronzeBetter
This case study is a summary of my group's campaign plan, in partnership with a local organization, to address the social and economic needs of the Bronzeville neighborhood. This video encapsulates the strategies, theories, tactics and proposed outcomes of our campaign. Tactics that were implemented include an internship posting and a film showing (hosted by our group) that led into a fruitful discussion among longtime Bronzeville residents.
Kmart Spec Ad: "Reconsider Surprises"
To combat the free-falling reputation and interest in Kmart retail stores, it became clear that something unprecedented must take place. The store was losing out to competitors in several markets and brand loyalty was hard to find. Digging back to Kmart's trademark "Blue Light Special," our group made a spec ad that brings back the fun, unpredictable retail experience of yore into the 21st century.
MFO Comm. Strategy: "Building Confidence from the Outfit In"
Within the many underserved neighborhoods of Chicago are brilliant students who may not understand the magnitude of their potential. Quality education, mentorship and exposure to new worlds help these kids to think differently and dream bigger. This non-profit aims to build confidence in K-12 girls through fashion and my group contributed a communications strategy to support this mission.
